Members of the Team
Emma Pearce – Manager
Emma joined the team in June 2017. Emma has experience of working in a nursery and is qualified to Level VI. She also holds a degree in Early Childhood studies and is First Aid trained.
Emma is also a Designated Safeguarding Officer and our SENCO.
Sadie Cain: Office Administrator
Sadie joined the team in Sept 2021, Sadie joins the team with lots of experience in administration.
She has a wonderful attention to detail, and is a real asset to the office.
Sadie is First Aid and Safeguarding Trained.
Dawn Edwards: Breakfast Club Leader and Morning Session Deputy Leader
Dawn qualified to Level III in 2010 after many years experience working in the Pre-School. She now leads the Breakfast Club session and is Deputy Leader in the morning at Pre-School. She works with the under 3’s.
Dawn is trained in First Aid and Safeguarding.
Beth Wallis: Pre-School Afternoon Sessions Deputy Leader.
Beth joined the team in April 2018. She gained her Level III qualification in 2020. Beth comes with over a years experience of childcare from a previous setting. She enjoys messy and creative play.
Beth is trained in First Aid and is a Designated Safeguarding Officer.
Jenny Wiles : Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Jenny re-joined the team in 2019, she previously had many years’ experience with us and we are delighted she has returned. Jenny qualified to Level III in 2013. Jenny is trained in First Aid and Safeguarding, she is also our Health & Safety Officer.
Olivia Davis: Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Olivia joins the team at the end of 2020, she trained as an Norland Nanny and is Level III trained. Olivia is very passionate, enjoys arts & crafts and spending time outdoors no matter the weather. Olivia is trained in First Aid and Safeguarding.
Miriam Boswell: Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Miriam commenced employment with the Pre-School in 1987 and qualified to Level III in 2010. Miriam works at Breakfast Club.
First Aid trained. Safeguarding trained.
Tom Beckett: Out of School Club Assistant
Tom joined our team in February 2022 when he also joined Long Crendon school as a KS2 Learning Support Assistant. Tom is Safeguarding and First Aid trained.
Julie Williams: Housekeeper
Julie qualified to Level III in 2001. Having run the Breakfast Club and morning Pre-School for many years she is now providing freshly cooked lunches at Pre-School and cold teas at After School Club.
First Aid and Safeguarding trained.
Tara Hughes: Out of School Assistant & Cleaner
Tara joined us in the beginning of 2021. Although the setting is cleaned 3 times a day, Tara comes in towards the end of the day for a deep clean. Tara is trained in First Aid & Safeguarding.
Chantel O’Neil – Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Chantel joined us in September 2022, originally as an out of school club assistant and now works with us full time as a pre-school assistant as well. Chantel already had her Level III qualification and is trained in First Aid & Safeguarding.
Heather Pinnington – Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Heather joined us in October 2022. Heather brings with her a wealth of experience from the childcare sector and is Level IIII qualified and is trained in First Aid & Safeguarding.
Lois Horner – Pre-School & Out of School Club Assistant
Lois joined us in November 2022. She is excited for a new career in childcare and is currently working towards her level III. Lois is also trained in Safeguarding & First Aid.
Emma McLean – Pre-School Assistant
Emma joined us in January 2023. She is excited for a new career in childcare and is currently working towards her level III. Emma already has her Level II qualification. Safeguarding and First Aid trained.
Karly Harrison – Pre-School & OSC Assistant
Karly joined us in January 2023. She is excited for a new career in childcare and is currently working towards her level III. Safeguarding and First Aid trained.
Katie Whale – OSC Assistant
Katie joined us in September 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of the team.
